About This Project

Earthy Escape

Our clients desired an update to their ensuite and main bathroom that complemented the classic contemporary style and tones used throughout the house. The result is a refreshing space, incorporating neutral tones and the warmth of an earthy escape.

The old ensuite and bathroom were both smaller spaces, with small tiles and lacking storage and heating. The clients wanted to improve functionality while working with the existing layout of the rooms. The most noticeable change implemented is the selection of large floor to ceiling Marble Pearl 600x600mm tiles. This selection not only brings warmth to the smaller places, but invites a feeling of grandeur and additional space. Larger tiles also means less grout, which creates a bathroom that is a lot easier to clean.  The visual warmth is complemented by the physical warmth of Underfloor heating throughout.  All previous brass fittings were then replaced with fresh contemporary chrome tapware.

The Result

The result is an ensuite has become an earthy escape for the parents. The main bathroom is a space where our clients teenagers and guests can enjoy for many years to come.
