LUXURIOUS LARGE FORMAT ENSUITE

The brief was to update the bathroom & ensuite to become a space of luxury, the clients were after a ‘transitional’ design, a blend between traditional and modern.  Minimal wall tiling height was requested to add character using a feature paint colour above tiling.  Easy cleaning fixtures and fittings and large format tiles were a must have as their original small decorative tiles were horrible to keep clean.

Original taps were leaking causing water damage, this was coming through the floor cause visible damage to the ceiling downstairs.  Our clients prioritised high quality products and workmanship above all else.

The original ensuite had a corner spa bath which took up a lot of space and a small enclosed shower.  To provide a better use of space and cater to the client’s needs this was replaced with a freestanding bath and large open shower.

THE RESULT

A custom vanity unit in 2Pac white gloss provided stylish storage.  The plumbing was altered to allow for a wall hung vanity creating a larger sense of space.  The ensuite vanity benchtop was in 20mm Ceasarstone Wild Rice, this complemented the Sierra Beige 600x600mm polished porcelain tile which were used for the floor and walls.

Tapware and fittings fused soft round edges with a slender profile providing an beautiful, elegant appearance.

Special bathroom details that were incorporated were a shower niche, freestanding bath, strip grate and smart grate with tile inserts, heated towel bars, Linear 3 in 1 Heat lamp unit & LED Magnifying Wall Mirror on extendable arm.

As a result the space has been transformed into a luxurious large format ensuite, delivering on high quality design, workmanship and finishes.  The clients are thrilled to have a space that complements their lifestyle.
